I’d like to show you what my cycle work tells us about Crude Oil.
Let’s begin with a weekly chart of CL where I have overlaid, in red, the dominant cycle. In blue you see the most important cycle wave.
Of course, this could be a stock or market index, as cycles influence everything… from weather to our lives, relationships, and investments.
From the chart we know this: Crude Oil cycles say this is rally time, so we want to look for and take buy signals. We should expect a bullish bias into March. What do we now know? We have learned a directional bias and length of move. That puts us way ahead of other traders.
The blue line is a new improvement I made in 2024. The line represents the longer-term cycle. My "improvement" was that, generally speaking, cycles are reliable… but… the blue highlighted area of the wave, the cycle is the most reliable.
In this case the wave has been seen 11 times since 1984. Crude Oil has rallied 95% of the time when this pattern is present. Now we have the best potential trade of the year as well! What’s more—in this case—we see shorter-term cycles back up the idea.
The chart is directly out of my Forecast 2025 Report. It's no wonder Crude has started the year with a rally. You may have noticed from the chart that the forecast was made about 25 days ago. This is as close as possible to getting next month's stock quotes today.
This is not a one-hit wonder. My Forecast 2025 Report also called for the metals to rally. Boy, did they ever!
